Ellie Taylor has shared how she wants to make her daughter Valentina proud by participating in Strictly Come Dancing.
The 38-year-old comedian, who works with Johannes Radebe, shares her three-year-old daughter with husband Phil Black and says she wants to teach her to “hug you weird.”
Speak with the mirrorshe said, “I approach it the same way I would like my daughter to approach everything in her life, which is that you don’t have to be the best, but you have to try to do your best.

“That’s definitely what I’m trying to do. If I can get that out of the competition, I think that’s a good example for her — to really give your best and embrace your weirdo.”
When asked if she feels sexy stepping on the dance floor, Ellie said, “Yeah, I feel good, I feel powerful. I actually just come in every Saturday and get to change.’
On Saturday’s show, Ellie and Johannes came together at the top of the leaderboard with their Couple’s Choice dance as they closed the show.
The judges were impressed by Craig Revel Horwood who said: ‘You gave it your all, you were just ahead of the pace, but it was one of your best dances’. Motsi Mabuse then said it was her favorite dance of the night.

They scored an incredible 35 and topped the standings with Tyler West and Dianne Buswell.
It comes after Ellie revealed she’s doing Strictly Come Dancing to show young girls like her daughter that women can be “funny and stupid.”
The star said she wants to prove that you don’t always have to be “fine and clean” and that sometimes you can just be a “wally.”

She said the mirrorYou want more women on television to be funny so little girls know it’s okay to be a woman and be funny and stupid.
“You don’t have to be neat, you can be a wally. I want to show my daughter that.’
Speaking of feminism in general, she added: “We stand on the shoulders of the generations before us who have made progress and who have had a much harder time.
“There are still a few chances now. But I still think it’s probably geared more towards boys.’
