Strictly’s Bobby Brazier ‘often finds feathers as a secret sign’ from late mum Jade Goody

Strictly Come Dancing's Bobby Brazier often 'finds feathers' around him that he thinks belong to his late mother Jade Goody.

The EastEnders actor, 20, believes the feathers are a 'secret sign' from his mother's spirit for him and his brother Freddie.

Jade tragically passed away in 2009 after a battle with cervical cancer, leaving behind sons Bobby and Freddie, 19, who she shared with ex Jeff Brazier.

Meanwhile, Jeff admitted that he regularly turns to his late ex Jade to ask what she would do with his children in certain situations.

Speaking with the Daily starJeff shared, “I often ask her for advice and we always find feathers.

“I've often asked, 'What would you do?' because it is a heavy responsibility when you carry the whole weight on your shoulders. She is always part of the conversation.

'Bobby has so much of her in him and we see that in every performance. Of course, she is there for those who are absolutely with us.”

Bobby, who competes with Strictly's Dianne Buswell on the BBC show, has won the hearts of the nation with his touching tribute to his mother.

It comes after Bobby danced with his grandmother Jackiey Budden at a Jade Goody charity ball last year.

Video, exclusively obtained by MailOnline, shows Bobby on the dance floor with Jade's mum Jackiey, 66, at the July 2022 event.

Jackiey recently opened up about the pride she feels for her grandson when he appears on Strictly Come Dancing, while also hitting out at his dad Jeff.

She told MailOnline that she is a 'very proud grandma' and that it is 'great' to see Bobby on the show, before commenting on her ongoing feud with his father Jeff, saying he is a 'c**k for f****' has been. ** nine years'.

In the video, a smart Bobby looked cheerful as he danced arm-in-arm with Jackiey, who wore a black velvet jumpsuit.

The event was organized by the late Jade's husband Jack Tweed, who managed to raise £30,000 for charity.

The charity ball was held at the Down Hall country house hotel in Essex and raised money and awareness for The Trust for Complementary Cancer Rehabilitation.

Jade's sons Bobby and Freddy were in attendance and it was hosted by former TOWIE star Mark Wright.

The evening also featured live performances from TOWIE's James Argent.

Jackiey is Bobby's grandmother and lives in Bermondsey, where she raised her Big Brother star daughter.

Jade shot to fame in the third series of the hit show but tragically died of cancer aged just 27.

She was the first reality star to become a millionaire and amassed a £3 million business empire, including books, perfumes and sports videos.

While Jackiey remains on good terms with grandsons Bobby and his younger brother Freddie, she is embroiled in a bitter feud with their father Jeff.

In September, she secretly got tickets to the National Television Awards to watch Bobby get a Rising Star gong for playing Freddie Slater in EastEnders.

There she was recorded with the brand name Brazier a 'c***'.

Jackiey addressed the feud with Jeff when she spoke to MailOnline, she said: 'When I came out for the NTA Awards I was loud and it's the booze and someone said, 'Oh, I bet you're really proud ' and 'how are you going to continue with Jeff Brazier' and I said 'he's a**k'.

'The next moment I'm on the internet and in the newspapers. When I came out of the O2 someone heard me say it, so they sold the story.”

When asked if she said it and why, Jackiey fumed, “Of course I said it. I have no problem with (calling him that).

'He's been cursed for nine years.

'Bobby doesn't need that tension on his head. He's my grandson.'

In 2021, Bobby confirmed in an Instagram video that he had reconnected with his grandmother after losing contact.

He said: 'I haven't seen her for ages – far too long – but I went to see her twice recently. And honestly, if there's one woman you shouldn't underestimate, it's my grandmother. Honestly, she's like a magician! It's crazy.'
