Angela Rippon suffered a wardrobe malfunction during Strictly Come Dancing on Saturday, with partner Kai Widdrington coming to her rescue.
The former broadcaster, who celebrated her 79th birthday this week, danced a Vietnamese waltz to Callum Scott and Leona Lewis’ To You Are The Reason.
Taking to the dance floor, she looked amazing in a red dress with a plunging neckline and bare heels.
But after they finished the performance, Angela had an accident when her shoe got stuck in the floor.
Luckily, Kai was able to move the heel while host Tess Daly held the contestant’s hand.

Earlier this week, Angela shared her gruesome secret to avoiding injuries on the dance floor.
She revealed that she uses sub-zero temperatures once or twice a week to avoid injury.
The former broadcaster uses a cryotherapy chamber along with deep tissue massages to keep her body fit for the challenges of Strictly.
Angela is the oldest contestant ever to take part in Strictly Come Dancing, but she doesn’t hesitate to show off her impressive flexibility when she’s on the dance floor.
She said: “I have one if not two cryotherapy chambers a week, followed by a deep tissue massage. I love them.’
She said The mirror detailing her weekly routine that involves standing in sub-zero temperatures for three minutes at a time, she said: “I stand in them at 120 degrees below zero for three minutes.
‘It’s so relaxing, I can’t tell you. I have made maintaining my body a very high priority.’

Angela insisted she wasn’t fooling anyone but wanted to make sure her body was well looked after, she continued: “I’m not crazy… I’ll be 79 next week and while my head is saying, ‘You’re having a great time, Ange’, my body is saying, ‘What the hell do you think you’re doing to me?”
She is paired with professional dancer Kai, 28, who has been spending time with her to make sure she doesn’t overdo it.
She admitted that she’s been dancing all her life so that’s probably why she can still hit those high kicks to that level and hasn’t sustained any injuries yet.
According to Angela, she is the only woman on the show who hasn’t blistered her feet or suffered any kind of injury. “I think I chose my shoes wisely,” she told the Mirror.
