Strictly’s Amanda Abbington sends thinly-veiled message to Giovanni Pernice following his ‘mad woman’ dig after she branded him ‘cruel’

Amanda Abbington appeared to take revenge on her former Strictly partner Giovanni Pernice after he called her a ‘mad woman’.

The 50-year-old actress sent a defiant message to the professional dancer as she took to the stage wearing a hoodie that read, “You’re so cool when you treat people.”

Amanda’s performance comes a day after the 33-year-old Italian singer made a scathing comment about her former dance partner during her live tour on Sunday.

Giovanni appeared at The Lowry, Salford, hours after Amanda slammed him in a new interview in which she called his behaviour “unnecessary and offensive”. Giovanni has strongly denied all claims against him.

Speaking to the audience, he said, “Oh, I’ll be back, don’t worry. Let’s see what this crazy woman has to say next.” [he did not name anyone].
