Louis Smith has announced the happy news that he is going to become a father for the second time.
The Olympic gymnast and his girlfriend Charlie Bruce revealed they are expecting their second child together in December.
Louis shared a photo of the scan and joked: “It’s so much fun we had to do it twice.”
Meanwhile, Charlie wrote in her own post: ‘The best birthday present I could ask for. Released on 5.12.24’.
The couple are already parents to a daughter, Marley Valentina, three, whom they welcomed in 2021.

JLS singer Aston Merrygold wrote: ‘Unbelievable my man! Congratulations everyone,” while his wife Sarah added: “Congratulations, beautiful, such great news.”
Meanwhile, former Strictly professional dancer Ian Waite wrote: ‘Aahhhhhhh congratulations.’

Louis won Strictly Come Dancing in 2012 with his partner Flavia Cacace, who later left the BBC show in 2013.
The former sportsman, who keeps his personal life relatively private, welcomed his fist born during lockdown on Valentine’s Day.
Three weeks after her birth, he shared his first photo with her, cradling her in an adorable photo.
As she rested against his chest in a baby pink growth, he wrote, “I just love her so much.”

After the birth, he also shared a heartwarming photo of Charlie cradling her, writing: “What a three days it has been. From Thursday evening to Sunday morning. You women are incredible and the mother of my child is no exception.
‘So glad that both ladies are doing well and healthy. Marley Valentina Smith welcome.”
Charlie shared a photo of her and Louis next to their newborn, along with several adorable photos of the toddler.
The new mom wrote, “Welcome to the world Marley Valentina Smith. Born at 2:30 am on February 14th and weighs a healthy 2,300 grams.
“I couldn’t have done it without the love of my life @louissmith1989 by my side. What a journey we have been on, but we have done it like the great team we are!’
