Strictly winner Ellie Leach reveals the VERY low-key way she celebrated her victory while partner and rumoured boyfriend Vito Coppola admits he wanted to ‘eat all day’ after finale

Strictly Come Dancing winner Ellie Leach has revealed the very low-key way she celebrated her win after Saturday night's final – spending the whole day in bed.

The former Coronation Street actress, 22, became the show's youngest ever winner after beating rivals Bobby Brazier and Layton Williams with her dance partner and rumored boyfriend Vito Coppola, 31.

On Monday, Ellie appeared on This Morning to discuss her win, saying: 'I feel like it will never feel real. Yesterday I thought, what's going on, and I lay in bed all day and went to have tea with my family.'

Italian dance partner Vito admitted he wanted to 'eat all day' – which Ellie said wasn't unusual.

Sam Thompson, who won I'm A Celebrity Get Me Out Of Here earlier this month, also appeared on the magazine show as he spoke about his own win, calling it 'the most amazing moment I've ever experienced'.

During Saturday's Strictly final, Ellie was seen whispering to Vito moments after their win as they held the glitterball trophy aloft together.

After Tess Daly and Claudia Winkleman announced they were the winners, the soap star immediately burst into happy tears. She proudly said softly to Vito, “This is for you.”

The professional dancer was almost speechless until he replied: 'I mean this is the icing on the cake, all the bruises and blisters, you've been so amazing, you are Strictly.

'You represent Strictly. You are the diamond, you shine.'

'It has been a life-changing opportunity and I have had the time of my life dancing with Vito every week. It was so special and the fact that I was able to do this with such a great teacher made it an experience I will never forget.

'Thank you so much for that, Vito, and thank you for finding the dancer in me. We couldn't have won without the voting public, so a big thank you to everyone at home who answered the phone for us, we appreciate you all!

During the show, Ellie was spotted whispering a sweet message to Vito moments after their win as they lifted the glitterball trophy together.

“Finally, a big congratulations to all the finalists and all the 2023 cast, who are incredible and have been on this journey with me.”

'We had a great time dancing together, and I loved every second of it! Thank you for being the best dance partner and thank you to everyone who supported and voted for us every week!'

Ellie and Vito, who are rumored to be dating, were both stunned when their names were announced, with the soap star's family in tears as they watched from the studio audience.

“I really can't believe this,” a stunned Ellie muttered before exclaiming that this was the first time she had ever seen Vito cry.

They raised the Glitterball trophy as confetti fell from the ceiling and was lifted onto the shoulders of their competitors.

The pair had impressed during the final after performing the Pasa Doble, a show dance and finally an American Smooth.
