Strictly fans have praised Bobby Brazier and Dianne Buswell for their intense performance during Saturday night’s show, which ended in a passionate almost-kiss.

The pair danced the Argentine Tango to Sail by AWLONATION and finished in the middle of the rankings with 30 points out of 40.

At the end of the dance, Dianne slid to her knees into Bobby’s arms as they hugged, their foreheads pressed together.

Dianne has reportedly been ‘hit hard’ by the investigation into her five-year relationship with Joe Sugg due to her close relationship with Bobby Brazier.

The professional dancer, 34, is said to be angry about ‘cruel comments’ after 20-year-old Bobby declared his love for her.

Insiders close to Dianne say she is ‘still very much together’ with Joe, 32, but is feeling down after being bombarded with taunts from the YouTuber’s overzealous supporters.

“The cruel comments she has read about her relationship with Bobby – who has been hugely supportive – have hit her hard,” a source told The Mirror.

‘She and Joe are still very much together and he has also been very supportive and publicly made it clear that he supports her.’

One wrote: ‘I don’t know why but the way Bobby acts around Dianne makes me a little uncomfortable, like she very clearly sees him as a little brother but you can tell he’s in love with her, I don’t know if there’s anything right about it. me’.

It comes after the pair declared their love for each other on Lorraine.

Speaking about their close bond, Bobby explained to stand-in host Christine Lampard: “We spend so much time together every day (during rehearsals).”

Dianne then chimed in, adding, “So if we didn’t like each other that would be a problem!”

Bobby then sweetly joked, “There are times when I don’t like you, but there are also times when I love you.”

Dianne is currently balancing her busy Strictly schedule by spending time with YouTuber boyfriend Joe, who she worked with on the 2018 series.

Bobby, meanwhile, was last linked to Waterloo star Tillie Amartey, also 20, in 2022 and despite it being over a year since they split, he is reportedly still ‘in love’ with her.

A source previously told The Mirror: ‘Bobby was really into her but she decided to call time on the relationship as she felt they weren’t right for each other.’

Bobby has since been linked to Storm model Liberty Love, but their relationship hit the rocks.
