Strictly Come Dancing star Amanda Abbington ‘confirms’ Ellie Leach and pro partner Vito Coppola’s romance – after the pair declared their love for each other

Former Strictly star Amanda Abbington has seemingly confirmed the romance rumors between Ellie Leach and her professional partner Vito Coppola.

It comes just days after the dancing duo declared their love for each other in gushing tributes on social media amid reports that ‘sparks are flying’ behind the scenes.

And Amanda, who quit the BBC show last month, appeared to let the cat out of the bag when she took to Instagram on Sunday to call the pair ‘the most beautiful couple’.

Former Corrie actress Ellie, 22, shared a photo of her and Vito’s latest performance, which she labeled a ‘magical evening’ as they topped the leaderboard for the second time.

Writing: ‘thank you, thank you, thank you. What a magical evening, we’re so grateful for all your support and we’re soooo happy to be spending another week on that Strictly dancefloor.’

Ellie and Vito, 31, achieved a near-perfect score of 39 on Saturday when they performed US Smooth to Robbie Williams hit Ain’t That Kick In the Head.

After their performance, judge Craig Revel Horwood noted that Ellie had gone from ‘strength to strength’ in the show before handing out a score of nine, while Motsi Mabuse predicted the routine could send them to the final.

Head judge Shirley Ballas called them ‘finalist material’ and Anton Du Beke labeled their routine as ‘cheerful’.

Speaking to presenters Claudia Winkleman and Tess Daly after their performance, Ellie said: ‘Honestly, I think that’s great. The atmosphere, the costume and the team are great. I felt a million dollars!.

“I thought, ‘What am I supposed to do here?’ But I have a great teacher!’

The Strictly duo looked over the moon as they received their high scores to shouts and cheers from the crowd.

Vitto marked his first year living in Britain with a sweet video in which he called the actress “My Lulú” and said he never expected to “feel so loved.”

Ellie then quickly replied, writing: “I love you, love you, love you.”
