A Strictly Come Dancing professional’s future appears to have been confirmed after his fiancée slipped away.
Gorka Márquez’s fiancée Gemma Atkinson accidentally revealed that the professional will return to the BBC show when it returns later this year.
The mother of two accidentally confirmed that Gorka will return to the dance floor, but is unsure if he will have a partner on the show.
Gemma, who shares daughter Mia, four, and Thiago, 10 months, with Gorka, spoke about their children’s childcare while attending Strictly training.
While juggling her own work commitments, Gemma says she has to rely on her parents as Gorka’s family live in Spain.

In a now-deleted social media post, Gemma explained: ‘Depending on Gorka’s partner and if he has a partner, depending on where they are located, he doesn’t know where he is.
‘All childcare ends up with my family, because of course his entire family lives in Spain.’
Last week, Gorka’s co-stars Luba Mushtuk and Jowita Przystal revealed that they still don’t know if they will return to the 2024 series.
Jowita explained: ‘Hopefully we’ll be back, we don’t know yet. You’ll have to watch to find out.’
Luba added: “Fingers crossed, it’s very exciting.”
MailOnline has contacted the BBC for comment.
It comes after Gemma hit back at critics of her long-distance relationship with Gorka in Lorraine in February.
The presenter revealed she is ‘great on her own’ as the Strictly Come Dancing star leaves for work because she likes her own ‘space’ as she continues to hit back at persistent split rumours.

In a now-deleted social media post, Gemma explained, according to The Sun: ‘Depending on Gorka’s partner and whether he has a partner, depending on where they are based, he doesn’t know where he is.’
Currently a judge on the Spanish version of the BBC competition Bailando con las Estrellas, Gorka is ‘home during the week’ and in Madrid at the weekend for filming.
Gemma said on ITV’s Lorraine that she doesn’t care if people find their romance ‘weird’ because she’s used to it and ‘it’s always been that way’.
She said: ‘He’s on Spanish Strictly as a judge, he’s home during the week but I get my space at the weekend so that works out fine.’
She continued, “I understand people think it’s strange that we’re apart a lot, but it’s always been that way since we met. Every year between August and Christmas I know, and Gorka knows, he doesn’t know where he will be.
‘Having done Strictly and knowing that side of it, it’s not a shock to me. Army wives and their partners have been away for six or seven months and they notice me complaining that I’ve been alone for three weeks, but I’m actually having a good time.
“You don’t want to be so dependent on each other that you can’t do anything without them and I think the great thing about me and Gorka is that on his own he’s great, on my own I’m great, but together it’s great. like unstoppable.”
