Strictly Come Dancing fans have threatened to ‘switch off’ after the show got on their ‘nerves’ during Saturday night’s launch.
When Claudia Winkleman and Tess Daly revealed which professional dancers the celebrities would be working with, viewers all had the same complaint.
While there was a lot to be happy about, some were annoyed by the distracting background noise.
One person shared their thoughts on Twitter, furiously commenting: ‘What the hell is going on with the rather fake-sounding laugh track on Strictly?!?
“Seriously, this better not be the flavor of things to come!”

Another wondered: ‘Why does it sound like they have canned laughter in the background?’
“What’s with the canned laughter?!?” a third added, while someone else shared: ‘Not here for this canned laughter.’
Another agreed: ‘Is there really a need for canned laughter? It gets on my nerves.’
“What’s wrong with the crowd noise on #strictly, it sounds like they’re mixing canned laughter together,” one fan shared.
Meanwhile, one said: ‘Not sure about the canned laughter but happy to see #StrictlyComeDancing back on the telly!’
The collaborations for the new series of Strictly Come Dancing were revealed during the launch show.
The first couple announced on the show were actress Amanda Abbington and dancer Giovanni Pernice.
When Claudia asked how happy she was with the collaboration, Amanda said: ‘I’m ecstatic, we get along really well, same sense of humor and committed to working hard’.

When asked about Amanda’s reaction to the revelation, her partner Giovanni said: “That was a reaction, I have to be honest… and there was also some shouting which I really enjoyed… very very happy days.”
Next up was former Love Island star Zara McDermott, who said she was ‘probably the most nervous I’ve been in my life’.
The reality star, who worked with Graziano Di Prima, said: ‘I’m not a born artist or an extrovert, so this is the biggest challenge of my life!’
Viewers then saw Jody Cundy CBE paired with reigning Strictly Come Dancing champion Jowita Przystał.
Next up was Channel 4 journalist Krishnan Guru-Murthy, who teamed up with professional dancer Lauren Oakley.
Then it was Angela Rippon CBE’s turn to find out who her partner was. Tess said; ‘Angela, tearing the dance floor to pieces – we can’t wait for that?! How does it feel to be on the other side 32 years after the presentation of Come Dancing?
Angela replied, “It’s weird not being in your place and being in this place, but I’m going to enjoy it I think, yeah!”
Angela was paired with Kai Widdrington and said of the pairing: “When I saw it was Kai I couldn’t have been happier, I promise.”
Then it was Layton Williams’ turn, who was paired with Nikita Kuzmin and together they form the all-male couple of this series.
Then it was Nigel Harman’s moment and he was paired with Katya Jones.
Claudia told Nigel that Katya could be quite strict and asked if he was ready.
Then it was Bobby Brazier’s turn to meet his professional partner for the series, and Dianne Buswell revealed herself on the set of EastEnders.
Bobby said, “I’m so happy!” while Dianne added, “I’m so happy I’ve already adopted Bobby as my little brother, and I already care about him so much, I just want him to have the best time ever.”
Next up was comedian Eddie Kadi, who teamed up with the longest-serving professional Karen Hauer.
Annabel Croft was then paired with Johannes Radebe on Wimbledon center court.
Actor Ellie Leach was then linked to Vito Coppola. When Claudia asked about her pairing, she said: ‘I’m over the moon that Vito is my partner, honestly I’m so excited I think we’re going to have so much fun.’
Dancers: At the end of the show, the celebrities and professional dancers performed their first group number to close the launch show in style
Actor Adam Thomas had been waiting patiently to find out who his partner was and it turned out to be Luba Mushtuk.
Then TV host Angela Scanlon was paired with Carlos Gu and said, “Thank you universe… I think Carlos will be able to teach me, he is direct… I feel like there is a directness that I could respond to , like brutal honesty that Carlos has.”
Claudia asked Carlos if this will be the year he wins, to which he replied: ‘Oh yes, I made a better plan and we are going for the glitter ball… we are taking it step by step, no rush. .’
The penultimate couple was radio host Nikita Kanda and Gorka Márquez.
