Strictly Come Dancing fans spot awkward moment between Bobby Brazier and Dianne Buswell after their first live performance

Strictly Come Dancing fans spotted an awkward moment between Bobby Brazier and Dianne Buswell during Saturday night’s episode.

Viewers were left in hysterics after discovering Bobby got mixed up with the Strictly roster and reportedly thought he was dancing on Sunday night.

As presenters Tess Daley and Claudia Winkleman said goodnight to the audience and viewers at home, Bobby looked stunned.

The EastEnders actor, who has previously admitted he has never seen the show before, discreetly asked Dianne if they were dancing tomorrow.

A grinning Dianne shook her head and said ‘next week’, while Bobby acknowledged that he now knew the timetable.

Blunder: Strictly Come Dancing fans spotted an awkward moment between Bobby Brazier and Dianne Buswell during Saturday night’s episode

The first of many, the pair gave an emotional first performance in the ballroom, dancing the foxtrot as they flew across the dance floor to McFly’s All About You

One viewer took to Twitter with the video footage, writing: ‘Did Bobby ask if they’re dancing tomorrow and Diane says… b****, I love that he has no idea what’s going on.’

The pair gave an emotional first performance in the ballroom, dancing the foxtrot as they flew across the dance floor to McFly’s All About You.

And it seems the routine touched the heart as Bobby’s father, Jeff Brazier, shed a tear at the end of the performance.

As he stood to receive the judges’ comments, Tess pointed to the father in the audience who was visibly overcome with emotion after watching his eldest son.

Jeff raised Bobby, 20, and his brother Freddie, 19, as a single dad after their mother Jade Goody tragically died from cervical cancer in 2009.

The Big Brother star passed away at just 27, leaving behind Bobby and Freddie, who were just four and five years old at the time.

Bobby joked during an appearance on This Morning earlier this week that he had never watched Strictly before signing up for the show and had never heard of the dances.

But none of that seemed to matter on Saturday night when he wowed the judges with their sweet foxtrot.

And it’s not the first time Bobby has moved his dad to tears recently after he swelled with pride when his son accepted the Rising Star award at the National Television Awards earlier this month.

The aspiring actor is forging an on-screen career with his role as Freddie Slater in EastEnders.

After his name was announced, Bobby immediately hugged his father, 44, who seemed overjoyed at his son’s success.

Bobby credited his win to Jeff while on the podium, saying, “This has very little to do with me and everything to do with my dad.

“Over the past 20 years I’ve heard him say, ‘because I can.’ It was a mantra of his and he just said, “because I can.” Because I can, why not?’

Great Comments: Bobby and Dianne beamed when they received the judges’ feedback

Earlier this month, Bobby told what his late mother Jady Goody would think of him on the BBC show.

Bobby, who was five when he lost his mother, said he thinks she would be “delighted” to have him take part in the competition after sharing his plans to honor her with a dance routine on the show.

Speak with OK! Magazine, the EastEnders star said: ‘She would be happy that I’m doing something that makes me happy. Like all my friends and all my family and everyone who loves me.

“They’re happy for me because they know how much I’m going to enjoy it and how happy I am just to be here.”

Bobby also shared how he plans to dedicate one of his dance routines to his late mother.

Speaking exclusively to MailOnline at the National Television Awards last week, Bobby revealed the songs he wants to dance to on the show.

He said, “There are a few, it depends on the mood. Saturday Love and also This Woman’s Worth by Maxwell, that would be nice, I hope I can make people cry with that.’

Bobby added, “Maybe I’ll dedicate that one (to my mom). I haven’t thought about it yet, but maybe that one will.’
