Ellie Leach and Vito Coppola confirmed their relationship status after reuniting for the Strictly Come Dancing Live! tour.

The actress, 22, and her professional dance partner, 31, have been hit with romance rumors since they started on Strictly in September 2023.

Now they’ve opened up about their close bond, with Vito insisting they’re “not going anywhere” but confirming they’re just good friends.

Speaking to the The mirrorhe said: ‘We have a great relationship and honestly if you just find people, not just me and Ellie, but their family that I love.

“You just find these people that you think are going to be in my life forever, in each other’s lives, and in the whole family and the dogs.”

The actress, 22, and her professional dance partner, 31, have been hit with romance rumors since starting Strictly in September 2023.

“We’re not going anywhere, don’t worry, I’m going to annoy you every day, every week and every year,” he added.

When asked if they meant friends, the pair confirmed that they are just good friends as they gave insight into their close bond.

There was a lot of speculation about the pair’s relationship status during their time on the BBC show last year, and their chemistry is still going strong after reuniting for the Strictly live tour.

The pair recently revealed they plan to get matching tattoos after becoming good friends on Strictly.

Appearing on This Morning to discuss their “amazing relationship” weeks after the show ended, host Craig Doyle bluntly asked: “Are they a couple?”

To which Vito responded: ‘We have a great relationship and we are going to get a tattoo just for fun. Before we reached the final, we promised ourselves we would get one from an Aubergine.”

Ellie added: “We said if we got to the final we would get a tattoo but it was just a joke, we didn’t expect to get there!

Vito continues: ‘In the end we decided to make a B with the body of an eggplant, because a B is a Brazilian insect. But that’s a symbol of our bond.”

Ellie and Vito are currently on the annual Strictly tour which started on Friday at the Utilita Arena Birmingham.

The show will see them perform the Paso Doble and American Smooth alongside several other contestants from Strictly’s 2023 series.

Now they have opened up about their close bond and confirmed their relationship status, with Vito insisting they are ‘not going anywhere’ but insisting they are just good friends.

Finalists Layton Williams and Nikita Kuzmin perform the Quickstep and Paso Doble, while Bobby Brazier and Dianne Buswell dance the Samba and Viennese Waltz.

Semi-finalists Annabel Croft and Graziano Di Prima also perform the American Smooth and Samba.

Angela Scanlon and Carlos Gu dance the Charleston and Argentine Tango and Angela Rippon and Kai Widdrington perform the Argentine Tango and Cha-Cha-Cha.

Finally, Krishnan Guru-Murthy and Jowita Przystał also show their moves with a Cha-Cha-Cha and Quickstep.
