Speaking about being on the show, Nicola said: “It’s all encompassing, as soon as you walk through the door, it’s very much like Strictly Land, which I think is magical and it’s even more magical that it’s Christmas.”
“Obviously Kimberley made the show and she would explain to us back then what it’s like, but until you’re actually in it and feeling it for yourself, it’s pretty hard to understand. It’s like walking into a Strictly Grotto.
Kimberley competed on the main series Strictly in 2012 with her dance partner Pasha Kovalev, eventually reaching the final before losing to Louis Smith and Flavia Cacace.

“When you’re in a band, you have weeks to perfect a two-hour show, so there will be certain numbers that you pick up quickly or numbers that can take, a good couple of weeks to really sink in, and that’s my process, so I I have learned over the years.
‘Obviously, strictly speaking, you don’t have the luxury of time. It wasn’t until after the fourth session that I felt like we were in a good space.
“Before that, I was torturing myself and I didn’t understand the routine, I didn’t understand the technical aspects, and the position is still not there all the time and it’s a lot to think about, so it’s been very fast, but I like it. to be professional. and I like to do a good job, and I’ve had a great time!’
Giovanni added: “She’s really good, she’s a slow learner, but with her experience I can see that she’s a good dancer.” We are doing the Waltz and we have opted for quality and there is a lot of quality there.’
Awesome: Talking about being on the show, Nicola said, “It’s all-encompassing, as soon as you walk through the door, it’s very much like Strictly Land, which I think is magical.”
Qualifying their chances when they take the court, both Nicola and Giovanni said they were set to win the competition.
She said: ‘I haven’t seen anyone else’s dances, but I think we all come from different backgrounds. It’s very hard to be competitive on a show like this, especially when everyone is so lovely and it’s the Christmas special and it’s kind of funny.
‘I feel competitive, I want to win! There are also a lot of good dancers, and it’s going to be fun!’ Giovanni added.
Nicola also admitted that she hopes to impress all the judges with her dance moves, given her famous reputation on the show.
