Streamer Natalie Reynolds dares vulnerable woman to jump into lake then flees when she says she can’t swim in cruel stunt

Streamer Natalie Reynolds has sparked outrage by daring a vulnerable woman who couldn’t swim to jump into a lake and then run cackling away with her friends.

The cruel stunt, filmed by Reynolds’ streamer friends and later shared on Reddit, shows the influencer encouraging the woman to jump into a lake before mocking her.

Viewers have reacted to the clip by telling Reynolds to ‘get f***ed’, while others described her as ‘narcissistic’ and ‘absolutely awful’.

Reynolds is a Kick streamer from the US who regularly sparks outrage with nonsensical stunts such as going to the gym with painted ‘leggings’ as a ‘social experiment’.

Her latest video shows her communicating with a vulnerable woman wearing only a T-shirt and flip-flops on a low pier above what appears to be Lady Bird Lake in Austin, Texas, on Wednesday afternoon.

Wearing a backwards baseball cap and a crop top, Reynolds pretends to push the woman into the water before telling her, “You just have to jump in now.”

The lady dives into the water as Reynolds watches, before turning to her friends and saying, “Oh! What the ***. Have you seen her ass?’

Two officials come to the woman’s aid as she shouts, “You said it was okay!” to Reynolds, who replies, “You said you wanted to swim.”

“You told me to jump in,” the woman shouts back, and Reynolds replies, “I didn’t tell you to jump in.”

One of the officials can be heard saying in a tired voice, “Yes, you did that,” as they rush to help the woman into the water. They lead Reynolds away.

As the video switches to Reynolds on dry land, the woman can be heard screaming, “I can’t swim!” I can only float’, in a disturbed tone.

“Stop, seriously, you’re really driving me crazy. I’m going to fucking kill myself. She says she’s drowning,” Reynolds tells her friends.

‘I did not know!’ Reynolds says as a male friend responds, “I think you literally just killed someone” and the group of five run away laughing.

The video cuts to the group sitting in a car as Reynolds puts her hand over her mouth and her friend says, “This is really bad,” as fire trucks drive by in the direction they just left.

The Austin Fire Department wrote on X that paramedics and firefighters went to Lady Bird Lake on Wednesday for a “medical call.”

“There is no water rescue on Lady Bird Lake. The person is out of the water and the incident has been downgraded to a medical call,” the department said.

Disgusted social media users criticized the streamers for their callous behavior.

‘Why wouldn’t they stay and help her? That’s absolutely terrible. There’s a special place in hell for people like this,” one person wrote in response to the video on Reddit.

“She’s a believer in denying and not helping,” one Redditor replied.

“These people are focused on getting content and nothing else,” said another person in a comment that was “liked” 1.4k times.

‘That woman is not human to them. She is a pillar of strength. But suddenly this ‘prop’ starts begging for help and it’s as if these bastards realize for the first time that they are endangering a real person’s life.”

Others said they hoped Reynolds would face consequences for her actions.

“When I saw you convince that woman to jump into the water and then jokingly run away in her distress? I hope you giggle your way to jail,” one viewer wrote on Reynolds’ latest Instagram post, in which she drags a shark out of the ocean.

‘This girl is out of her mind, that’s for sure. She deserves to be charged, maybe that will teach her something!’ said another person.

Social media users claimed the woman who lured Reynolds into the water was ‘homeless’, but this has not been confirmed.

DailyMail.com has reached out to the Austin Police Department and Austin Fire Department for clarification on whether charges will be filed over the incident.
