According to the alleged victim’s testimony, the kidnappers were startled by a police officer and fled in panic before crashing into a wall.

When the van came to a stop, it was run over by bystanders, one carrying a baseball bat and the other carrying a metal bar.

The onlookers pulled open the passenger door of the cabin and began exchanging blows with the men from inside the van.

The wrestling continues until the man with the baseball bat starts swinging wildly and a running police officer arrives on the scene, causing the combatants to scatter.

The suspected victim suffered injuries and was treated at the scene by ambulance personnel.
