The clip showcased the seven new ice cream flavors, which are sold under the name of an in-universe ice cream shop and available exclusively at Walmart, and promised viewers “boatloads of flavor” during the video. .

However, many fans of the science fiction show, which is about to conclude with a new series of episodes, expressed their dissatisfaction with the lack of information about the new season provided by the teaser.

One fan told X, formerly known as Twitter, that they were “begging” for a traditional trailer.

In February last year, it was announced that Stranger Things had been renewed for a fifth and final season.

The critically acclaimed series first premiered in July 2016 and quickly became a favorite among Netflix viewers.

The show, starring artists such as Millie Bobby Brown, Winona Ryder and David Harbour, was subsequently renewed for three more seasons, premiering in 2017, 2019 and 2022 respectively.

The show’s creators, The Duffer Brothers, subsequently released a statement to confirm that the fifth season would be the last in February 2022.
