Former Pittsburgh Steelers quarterback Ben Roethlisberger’s name surfaced Tuesday in Donald Trump’s hush money lawsuit after porn star Stormy Daniels recalled their infamous encounter at a Lake Tahoe nightclub in 2006.

Trump is currently on trial in New York City over claims that he falsified business records to conceal a hush money payment to Daniels – whose real name is Stephanie Clifford – in an attempt to conceal an alleged sexual encounter between the couple.

The adult film actress took the stand on Tuesday to testify about the alleged $130,000 payment she received to keep quiet about her affair with the former US president, who was reportedly with Roethlisberger during one of their first meetings.

Daniels previously discussed her experiences with Roethlisberger in her 2018 book “Full Disclosure,” in which she claimed she became “terrified” of him when Trump asked him to take her back to her hotel room.

Five years after those allegations, Daniels has shed further light on her encounter with Roethlisberger, recalling him trying on his Super Bowl ring after Trump introduced them at a VIP club in Lake Tahoe.

Trump reportedly introduced her as his “little friend Stormy” before describing the Steelers legend as “Big Ben.”

Roethlisberger declined to comment after Daniels released her book in 2018.

Two years after the alleged incident, he was accused of sexually assaulting a woman in a Lake Tahoe hotel room before ultimately settling in 2012 for an unspecified amount.

Roethlisberger also faced allegations of sexual abuse from a woman in Georgia in 2010, but prosecutors declined to press charges. However, the NFL still chose to hit him with a six-game suspension, which was later reduced to four games.

“You have told me and the Steelers that you are committed to making better decisions,” commissioner Roger Goodell said in a letter to the Steelers QB.

“Your actions over the past few months are consistent with that promise and you must continue to deliver on that promise.”

Roethlisberger spent another eleven years with the Steelers before retiring in 2021 as one of the most productive passers in NFL history with the fifth-highest passing yards of all time (64,088).

His two Super Bowl wins in Pittsburgh came in the 2005 and 2008 seasons.
