The German WAGs could not hide their disappointment after their dramatic knockout in the quarter-finals of Euro 2024 against Spain last night.
The home side were knocked out in a thrilling match in Stuttgart, with Mikel Merino breaking their hearts with a header in the 119th minute.
Julian Nagelsmann’s team seemed to have saved their tournament chances with Florian Wirtz’s injury-time equaliser, forcing the match to go into extra time.
But just minutes after Niclas Fullkrug saw an effort from Spain goalkeeper Unai Simon saved superbly, Merino was met by a cross from Lamine Yamal in what led to wild scenes.
The wives and girlfriends of the German players and national coach Nagelsmann remained in the stadium long after the final whistle to comfort their partners.

Like their significant others, they were visibly discouraged by the outcome.
Nagelsmann’s partner, former journalist Lena Wurzenberger, was comforted in her chair, with a small German flag on each cheek.
Wurzenberger was spotted regularly cheering on Germany at matches this summer and also had several intimate moments with Nagelsmann.
Manuel Neuer’s girlfriend Anika Bissel was photographed talking on the phone, while Florian Wirtz’s partner Aaliyah looked less than impressed as she walked past a photographer.
Lea Prinz, Maximilian Mittelstadt’s girlfriend, walked out of the stadium with a straight face, wearing her boyfriend’s number 18 shirt as a show of support.

Nagelsmann later held an emotional press conference after the match, insisting his team did not deserve to lose as he tried to hold back tears.
“It hurts because we can’t do better in the next two years and I will probably never experience a home tournament again in my career,” Nagelsmann said.
“We created a great symbiosis with the people all over the country. If we had performed badly, it would have been justified and we wouldn’t have had to fight back the tears. There was never a moment when my players didn’t give everything.”
