Stocks to watch today: IRCTC, Fusion, Ultratech, Uno Minda, NBCC, SBI, RBL Bank

Equity benchmark indices Sensex and Nifty seem poised for a fast start, as evidenced by the 180-point gain recorded by Gift Nifty futures at 7:45 am on Thursday.



In a clear signal that the cycle of rate hikes was coming to an end, the US Fed stuck with its policy last night and planned at least three rate cuts next year, sparking a global stock market rally.

The Dow Jones reached a new high in the US, rising 1.4 percent. The S&P 500 and the Nasdaq Composite also gained 1.38 percent each.

Nikkei lagged behind in Asia with a decline of 0.3 percent. Hang Seng, Kospi and S&P/ASX 200 rose 1.4 percent each.


In the meantime, here are some stocks to watch out for in trading today:


IRCTC: The company is eyeing a major expansion in non-railway catering across India. It has already signed MoUs with various governments and autonomous bodies as it aims to become a leading hospitality and catering brand.


Fusion Micro-financing: Honey Rose Investment, an arm of global private equity firm Warburg Pincus, could sell a 9.25 percent stake in the company today through a block deal, CNBC TV-18 reported. The deal size is valued at Rs 500 crore, with a price floor at Rs 535.

State Bank of India: TThe lender will sign a credit line worth EUR 70 million with the KfW (German Development Bank) to support solar projects in India.

Ultratech cement: The company said it plans to increase the total share of green energy in the total energy mix to 85 percent by 2030. It also aims to increase its total green energy share to 60 percent from the current 22 percent by FY26.

Uno Minda: The company has inaugurated its new car seating plant under subsidiary Uno Minda TACHI-S (UMTS) Seating at Bhagapura, Ahmedabad, Gujarat.

The factory will produce mechanical parts for passenger car seats. UMTS has already received orders from OEM and is expected to start shipping in the fourth quarter of 2024.


RBL bank: The lender has acquired 8.51 percent stake in Open Network for Digital Commerce (ONDC) for a total cash consideration of Rs 40 crore.


PNC Infratech: The company has accepted Rs 394 crore from NHAI to settle a dispute raised by its subsidiary.


NBCC (India): The company received a crucial order of Rs 1,500 crore from NCDC.


Biocon: The biotech company said that with the completion of Bicara Therapeutics Inc's $165 million Series C financing round, it is no longer an associate company of Biocon.


Vedanta: The company will consider and approve the second interim dividend on December 18.


Asian Granito: The company opened a 300 sq ft showroom in Hyderabad, showcasing its collection of premium GVT tiles and large slabs.
