Stock Market LIVE: Everyone But Nikkei Wins In Asian Trading; BTC owns $72,000

ITC: British American Tobacco Plc, the maker of Lucky Strike cigarettes, would this week already buy part of its stake in Indian partner ITC Ltd. can sell, Bloomberg reported on Monday.

London-listed BAT has signed a partnership with Bank of America Corp. and Citigroup Inc. discussed a possible divestment of about $2 billion to $3 billion of ITC stock through block trades, the report said.

National Bank of India: The Supreme Court has asked the state lender to provide details of electoral bond holders by today, March 12.

SpiceJetThe airline’s Chief Operating Officer (COO) Arun Kashyap and Chief Commercial Officer (CCO) Shilpa Bhatia have resigned from the airline and are currently serving their notice periods, Business Standard reported on Monday.

Global markets

Japan’s Nikkei expanded its profit booking with a discount of more than 1 percent.

However, benchmarks in Australia, South Korea and Hong Kong rose 0.2 percent to 0.4 percent.

Overnight, the S&P 500 and Nasdaq Composite fell 0.11 percent and 0.41 percent, respectively.
