Sticking to a tried and tested recipe! Mary Berry, 89, re-wears the SAME NTAs dress from 11 years ago

Mary Berry proved she’s the queen of sustainable style when she rocked a very famous dress at the National Television Awards on Wednesday night.

The 89-year-old Great British Bake Off star once again wore a stunning blue satin dress, which she first wore to the annual awards ceremony in 2013.

Mary looked stunning in the form-fitting piece, which featured a high-waisted satin skirt and jersey top.

Mary copied her style from 11 years ago when she walked the red carpet with her GBBO colleague Paul Hollywood, accessorizing with a statement glittering necklace.

This year’s National Television Awards will take place at their usual venue at The O2 London on Peninsula Square and will be broadcast live on ITV from 8pm.

The NTAs have taken place at the O2 every year since 2010, with the exception of the rescheduled 2022 event at Wembley.

Comedian Joel Dommett will host the awards ceremony for the fourth time.

Meanwhile, Jungle King Sam Thompson and his buddy Pete Wicks will make their first appearance this year on the red carpet.

There are rumours that Holly Willoughby will also return to UK screens as part of Joel’s presenting team.

The former This Morning presenter, 43, is set to work with her old colleagues again after quitting the daytime programme in October after 14 years as co-host.

Her departure followed the discovery of a kidnap and murder plot against her by security guard Gavin Plumb, who has since been jailed for the plot.

In an interesting twist, Holly’s This Morning successors Cat Deeley and Ben Shephard have been passed over for an NTA nomination in the Best TV Presenter category.

Although the show itself is up for an award in the Daytime Programme category, Cat (47) and Ben (49) narrowly missed out on the prize, having been brought in by ITV bosses in March after Holly and Phillip Schofield left the show.

Their favourite co-host, Alison Hammond, 49, has knocked them out of the Best TV Presenter category after she secured another nomination.

Last year, This Morning missed out on the Best Daytime Television award for the first time in 12 years.

Alison is up against Bradley Walsh, Claudia Winkleman, Stacey Solomon and Ant and Dec, who have won the award for the past 22 years, in the TV presenter category.

Elsewhere, Michelle Keegan scored an impressive hat-trick at the awards show after being nominated for three awards, including a Nod for Best Dramatic Performance for her record-breaking series Fool Me Once.

The National Television Awards, hosted for the fourth time by Joel Dommett, will be held at The 02 London and broadcast live on ITV and ITVX at 8pm (Joel at the 2023 ceremony)

The Coronation Street actress starred in Netflix’s adaptation of Harlan Coben’s mystery novel in January.

Michelle earned a nod for her role as military woman Maya Stern, who mourns her murdered husband when she sees him on a nanny cam in her home.

The series also received a nomination in the New Drama category, while Brassic, which stars Michelle Erin Croft, was nominated for Best Comedy.

Fool Me Once became one of Netflix’s biggest hits ever with over 100 million views – and boosted Michelle’s drama career.

The soap star has previously been nominated four times for the NTAs, three times for Coronation Street and once for the BBC’s Our Girl.

Toby Jones also receives an award in the drama category for his role as former postmaster Sir Alan Bates, one of more than 550 claimants who have taken legal action against the Post Office.

The ITV drama faces stiff competition from Netflix hit Baby Reindeer, romantic drama One Day and Fool Me Once and Red Eye for the award.

Meanwhile, Jones is up against actress Jessica Gunning, who is also nominated for Best Drama Performance for her role as Martha Scott in the dark comedy Baby Reindeer. In the film, her character stalks comedian Donny Dunn after he offers her a free cup of tea at the pub where he works.
