Stevie Nicks took to Instagram on Tuesday to gush about the Amazon Prime series Daisy Jones & The Six, which was inspired by her band Fleetwood Mac.
The 75-year-old musician shared a still from the show and shared a pensive caption.
Just finished watching Daisy Jones + the 6 for the 2nd time. It wasn’t really my story at first, but Riley seamlessly became my story,” she began the note, referring to the star of the show, Riley Keough.
Nicks added, “It brought back memories that made me feel like a ghost watching my own story.”
The longtime music artist recalled her late bandmate Christine McVie when she added, “It was very emotional for me. I wish Christine could have seen it. She would have loved it. Hopefully it continues…”

Keough, actress Camila Morrone and producer Reese Witherspoon all joined in the commentary.
Camila, who played Camila Alvarez in the miniseries, left behind four red heart emojis.
Witherspoon, whose Hello Sunshine production company ran the show, wrote, “Oh my stars, Stevie!! This means the world to the entire @daisyjonesandthesix team!”
She added, “Thanks for cutting the trail!” and her comment got over 5,000 likes.
Riley seemed to be at a loss for words as all she managed to type was a series of emojis including heart eyes, a shocked face and praying hands.
The series, which premiered in March, is based on Taylor Jenkins Reid’s New York Times bestseller.
Set in the 1970s, it “follows the story of two feuding yet charismatic lead singers Daisy Jones and Billy Dunne and how the iconic band imploded at the peak of its powers,” according to a synopsis.

Jenkins Reid has repeatedly said that the story is loosely based on the dynamic of Nicks and Lindsey Buckingham, following the turbulence of their lives in the spotlight.
Their tumultuous relationship led to the creation of Fleetwood Mac’s greatest hits, but their romance ultimately blew the famed band apart.
Jenkins Reid previously told Hello Sunshine: ‘When I decided I wanted to write a book about rock ‘n’ roll, I kept coming back to that moment when Lindsey saw Stevie Landslide (on The Dance) sing.
“How it looked like two people in love. And yet we will never really know what lived between them.
‘I wanted to write a story about that, about how the dividing line between real life and performance can blur, about how singing about old wounds can keep them fresh.’
