Taylor Swift recently paid a beautiful tribute to the music legend on stage.
The 34-year-old pop icon played Clara Bow for the first time and dedicated the song to her ‘hero’ Stevie during her third and final performance on the Dublin Eras Tour.
The Fleetwood Mac legend was among the A-listers who attended Taylor’s star-studded show in Dublin on Sunday.
And to celebrate, Taylor sang Clara Bow for the first time as a surprise song, with the verse dedicated to Stevie.
The Fearless singer gave a speech ahead of her performance in which she paid tribute to her “hero” Stevie, who she praised for being a groundbreaking female artist.
“The reason I want to play this tonight is because a friend of mine is here watching the show and he’s one of the reasons why I, or any female artist, is able to do what we’re able to do,” Taylor said.
“She’s become friends with so many female artists, just to be a guiding hand. I can’t tell you how rare that is.
“She’s a hero of mine and also someone I can tell any secret to and she would never tell anyone. She’s really helped me through so much over the years. I’m talking about Stevie Nicks!”
Stevie was seen in the VIP area wearing a face mask as she recorded the touching tribute to Taylor.
However, some other fans expressed their concerns for the singer and wished her a speedy recovery.
