Steven Spielberg wore a stylish outfit to the AFI Awards Luncheon in Los Angeles on Friday afternoon.

The 76-year-old director wore a black suit with a lavender shirt and a dark purple tie to the event.

Her appearance at the event came just days after winning her ninth Golden Globe.

His gray-brown hair was brushed to the right, and a thin goatee sat prominently on his jaw.

She added horn-rimmed glasses to her ensemble, and slowly made her way down the red carpet where she posed with one of her longest-serving collaborators.

Ke Huy Quan, who played Short Round in Indiana Jones and the Temple of Doom, which Spielberg co-wrote and directed, gave Spielberg a big hug at the event.

The Vietnamese-born actor rose to prominence for his role as Short Round and for his role as Data in the 1980s film Goonies.

Quan has experienced something of a career resurgence over the last year. He took home the Golden Globe for Best Supporting Actor for the movie Everything Everywhere All at Once.

Spielberg won the Golden Globe for Best Director for The Fabelmans about a boy growing up in America who “aspires to be a filmmaker by his teens, but soon discovers a devastating family secret and explores how the power of movies can help him see the truth.” ‘according to the movie IMDb page.

The Fabelmans also won the Golden Globe for Best Motion Picture – Drama.
