Two men face charges after the gruesome discovery of a missing father’s body in a bunker on a remote farm

A man and a teenager have been charged with the murder of missing father Steven Murphy after his body was found in a bunker.
Mr. Murphy’s body was discovered by police in a hole in a Kudla property in Adelaide’s northern suburbs on Tuesday.
The body was found in a 50 feet by 50 feet man-made bunker in a backyard shed.
Shortly after the remains were confirmed to be those of The missing father of two, Mr Murphy, 38, two men aged 46 and 19 were charged with murder.
The elderly man, named Keith Yandle, was also charged with concealing human remains.

Both men were refused bail and taken into custody to appear at the Adelaide Magistrates Court at a later date.
Mr Yandle was taken into custody earlier this week and charged with drug and firearms offenses after police found 20 cannabis plants when they began searching the property in Kudla.
They had gone there after a tip on Sunday that there might be a body in the building.
The site was drained before excavators were deployed to dig the hole under the bunker, revealing the remains.
Police believe his body may have been in the bunker for about six weeks, the same period he was reported missing.

Police believe Mr Murphy’s body may have been in the bunker for about six weeks, the same period of time he was reported missing
Police had previously posted an appeal regarding Mr Murphy’s whereabouts on Facebook.
He was last seen in Kudla on Feb. 15 with online speculation that he had been squatting in local farm buildings.
The two murder suspects are being held to face court at a later date.
