Steve Kerr takes swipe at Donald Trump with shocking ‘illegal immigrant’ comment after election

Warriors coach Steve Kerr strongly rebuked Donald Trump on Wednesday following his victory over Vice President Kamala Harris in the presidential election.

Kerr is a well-known Democrat and endorsed VP Harris at the Democratic National Convention in August.

And before his team took on the Celtics, Kerr blasted the second-time president-elect, mocking Trump for his repeated claims that the 2020 election results were illegitimate.

“I’m just grateful there was no voter fraud this time,” he said sarcastically told reporters. ‘Last time, all those illegal immigrants who crossed the border, raped and murdered people and then voted six times, it was a shame.

‘But luckily everything was clean this time. It’s nice that every election has been really valid, except for the last one four years ago.’

Kerr was later asked if he had spoken to his team before their game with Boston to refocus them after the election results.

“I just told them, let’s make America great again and beat the Celtics tonight,” he joked.

Kerr said in his campaign for Harris at the DNC that “leaders must show dignity,” but conceded on Wednesday the ‘American people have spoken’

‘I want him to do well for the next four years. I want our country to do well.’

‘…I I believe in the will of the people and I will do everything I can to support my country and our government. And I don’t want anything best for us. It’s a complex world. There are many interesting things between wars abroad and the global economy.”

Kerr further admitted that he lives in a “bubble” and called himself one of the “happiest people on earth” before expressing hope that Trump can help the American people in his second term.

Olympian Simone Biles also didn’t seem too pleased with the outcome of the election as she made a plea for incumbent President Joe Biden.
