Steven Clough: Tragic update two days after father went missing on a dirt bike camping trip in Victoria’s remote Skipworth Reserve

The body of a father who went missing during a camping trip has been found after a two-day search.

Police confirmed at 1.40pm on Sunday that Steven Clough’s body had been found on Big River Road, Enochs Point in Victoria’s high country.

It is believed the 58-year-old crashed his KTM 350 dirt bike and died at the scene.

The exact circumstances surrounding the accident have yet to be established and police will prepare a report for the coroner.

Police confirmed at 1.40pm on Sunday that Steven Clough’s body had been found on Big River Road, Enochs Point in Victoria’s High Country.

Mr Clough was last seen leaving a campsite at Skipworth Reserve in Kevington, about three hours northeast of Melbourne, at 2pm on Friday.

He told his partner Tammy that he was going to take a ride on his motorcycle along the dirt bike trails near Mount Terrible.

About 70 police officers and support staff searched for Mr Clough throughout the weekend.

The air wing was also deployed by the police to assist in the search and rescue efforts.

She said her mother was left shocked and stressed as she did not know where Mr Clough was.

Police say they would like to thank the volunteers who were involved in the extensive search.
