Steve Bannon shares his advice for Donald Trump to win the election … and how Elon Musk could help secure victory NEEDS VIDEO 3302117
Steve Bannon has advice for Donald Trump on how to win the election: keep doing your thing, be yourself and keep outside groups focused heavily on getting out the vote.
“I would say to President Trump, go ahead and do your rallies,” he told DailyMail.com in an interview.
‘Do what you do. Just be yourself. You are authentic.
“Just be yourself, and really let your staff and these outside groups take power over the next six, seven days and get as many people as possible to vote before and on November 5.”
He has had four months to think about the strategy while locked up in federal prison, serving a sentence on two counts of contempt of Congress.
Steve Bannon gave his advice to his former boss Donald Trump on how to win the election during an exclusive interview with DailyMail.com
He was released Tuesday morning. He was on the phone with his former boss within hours, but declined to discuss their conversation.
His release, a week before Election Day, brings one of Trump’s most powerful supporters back to the airwaves.
Meanwhile, he has undergone an about-face against one of the former president’s most powerful allies.
Last year he described billionaire Elon Musk as “a war profiteer” who is “owned by the Chinese Communist Party” and “who would take a check from Adolf Hitler himself.”
Now he sees the owners of Tesla and X as a crucial part of the coalition of groups trying to lure voters.
The final days, he said, should involve a “maniacal focus on getting out the vote.”
‘You know, Elon Musk is a very smart guy, and I think he has woken up, and I have had a lot of disagreements with Elon Musk, but Elon Musk has focused on putting his money… many months ago, to come out voting efforts,” he said.
“Charlie Kirk is one of the smartest young men in politics. He focused on voting.”
Musk has moved to Pennsylvania, the biggest prize among the seven battleground states with 19 Electoral College votes. He has used his billions to award multimillion-dollar prizes to voters who sign his petition (although that is now being legally challenged).
Bannon was Trump’s chief strategist in the White House before losing a power struggle with other advisers to the president. Bannon said he spoke with Trump on Tuesday after leaving prison
Bannon drew a line under his previous criticism of Elon Musk and praised the billionaire for putting his money into a major election campaign.
He also praised conservative activist Charlie Kirk and his voter drive

And Kirk, whose podcast is a big hit with young conservatives, is leading the vote in Arizona.
Bannon said the time for changing minds had passed.
“There are no undecideds in our country, everyone has an opinion about President Trump,” he said. “The key is getting low propensity voters and getting them to the polls.”
Trump and his Democratic opponent Kamala Harris are crossing the most important swing states in the final, hectic campaign days.
The DailyMail.com/JL Partners election model shows Trump has an overall advantage in winning the Electoral College, but the outcome is likely to be tight no matter what happens.
