A teenager was not allowed to go upstairs or receive guests as part of a set of disturbing rules forced upon her by her stepmother.
The horrific conditions were on a list the 16-year-old girl had to follow while living in a home in Wagga Wagga, in Riverina, NSW.
The documents, which bear the bizarre title ‘Welcome to the concentration camp and living conditions’, are said to have been typed and imposed by the stepmother.
The 16-year-old is now an adult and about to become a mother herself. She shared the list she had to stick to as a teenager.

The horrific conditions were on a list the 16-year-old girl had to follow while living in a home in Wagga Wagga, in Riverina, NSW.
“I want to hear everyone’s opinion on this contract my stepmother made for me to live with herself and my father,” the woman wrote on Facebook.
“I must have blocked this, it has now resurfaced and reading it has set my soul on fire as I am pregnant with my first baby and thinking how on earth could anyone do this to a 16 year old.”
At the top of the document in question is a stern warning.
“If you want a roof over your head and food at the table, there are no variations or inflections of rules on any of the points below at any time.”
While some rules seem reasonable, such as no smoking, drinking or taking drugs on the property and taking her clothes to the laundromat, others are much more brutal.
The girl was not allowed to receive anyone, for example a friend, and was not allowed to leave the house unless she had asked permission from her father.
The house must remain locked at all times, including doors and windows.
She was also restricted to where she could enter the premises as she could not go upstairs “for any reason” or “from inside to outside”.
The teen was instructed to get a job, pay her stepmother $100 each “payday,” which “can be adjusted depending on your earnings,” and provide a pay stub.
She also had to keep her bedroom ‘spotlessly clean’, make her bed daily, do the dishes, keep the kitchen clean, keep the bathroom clean and scrub the bathroom every four days and regularly change the cushions on the lounge.
Her stepmother refused to give her house keys, saying the teen would be forced to go to bed at 9 p.m. and get out of bed at 8 a.m., or 9 a.m. on weekends.
The girl was allowed to ask for money ‘for nothing’.

“If any of the above rules are broken at any time or if the time frame is not met (in regards to finding a job), your belongings will be packed up immediately and it will be up to you to find alternative accommodation,” the stepmother said. . wrote at the end.
“No questions asked.”
Social media users heavily criticized the stepmother for the strict living conditions and expressed their sympathy for the teenager.
“This is abuse… I can’t believe your father allowed this,” someone said.
“I’m sorry you went through this!”
Another wrote, “I wanted you to act like an adult but treat you like a prisoner. That sucks.’
“I thought this was definitely not in Australia and then I read Wagga. What the f!!! (sic)” commented a third user.
One person said, ‘As well as being offensive, her lines don’t make any sense! So you are not allowed to have dirty clothes in your room, but you are also not allowed to use the washing machine until you have a full wash? huh?’
“And the locked house and no keys but she should work?” another commented in response to the comment.
