Stephen Reid has been causing carnage on the cobblestones by drugging his boss Carla Connor.
And during Monday’s episode, Carla got fed up with Stephen’s tricks and fired him from the factory on his way back to work.
Before going back to work, Stephen had a meeting with the factory workers. He said: ‘What I am going to suggest is quite radical. You probably already know that the factory is owned 50% by Carla and 50% by the staff.
We all know that Carla has suffered from mental health problems in the past and it seems that these problems have returned. Sarah and I have trouble making business decisions without full control.
“I’m suggesting that we take the pressure off Carla, I’m suggesting that those with stakes in the company take a vote of no confidence to take Carla’s shares away.”

The entire staff showed their loyalty to Carla by unanimously voting to keep her, while Faye texted her to tell her about Stephen’s tricks.
Walking back to the factory, Stephen said, “I still think you may be back at work too soon, I’m more than capable of holding the fort.”
She yelled angrily, ‘Did you really think no one would tell me what’s been going on? A vote of no confidence? You are a snake! You tried to throw me under the bus, you’re fired!
Stephen quipped: ‘You can’t just fire me, you need me, I’m valuable!’
Later in the episode, Carla finds Stephen to ask him to return to the factory after learning that a big client will only make a deal with him.

It comes after the serial killer accidentally spikes his own drink with LSD, prompting an amazing reaction during a job presentation.
Stephen has been mixing Carla’s tea with LSD as payback for his lowly position at the factory, and his reaction almost led to tragedy when he ran over Paul Foreman.
Drugged, Stephen takes a trip down memory lane before backing out of the performance, and as punishment, Carla cuts him out of the deal.
As a furious Stephen heads off to buy more drugs, the two boys pocket their money and laugh in his face. Could the new cobblestone killer claim even more victims?
In the episodes, Carla (Alison King) is in the midst of preparing for Nippersnapper’s performance, and Stephen (Todd Boyce) secretly mixes her tea with LSD.
Carla takes a sip but spits it out, complaining that she has used whole milk, and Stephen quickly realizes that he has given him the wrong one, meaning either he or Sarah Platt (Tina O’Brien) have drunk the drugs.
When they arrive at the hotel for the presentation, Stephen takes the stage, but his vision blurs and he breaks out in a profuse sweat.
Stephen soon realizes to his horror that he must have taken LSD, and his reaction sends him on a wild trip down memory lane.
Later, Carla berates Stephen for pulling out of the presentation, leaving Sarah to continue, making it clear that he will have nothing more to do with the American deal.
A furious Stephen heads to the police station, intending to buy more drugs.
However, when two boys pocket his money and laugh in his face, Stephen blushes.
Disaster! While trying to drug Carla, Stephen accidentally drinks a cup of LSD, and then his reaction kicks in before an important performance.
Viewers had previously predicted that Carla would be next on Stephen’s hit list, after she dismissed his claims that he owned Underworld.
Steve had convinced Rufus that he owned the Underworld when it was actually Carla, and when Carla intervened to show that she was in charge and owned the clothing designs, Steve seemed to be furious with Carla, giving her a sinister glare. . .
The villain has already claimed two victims, previously murdering Leo Thompkins (Joe Frost) and Leo’s father Teddy (Grant Burgin), and it likely won’t be long before he claims another…
