Stephen A. Smith continues to speak his mind on his eponymous podcast, recently tearing up Michael Irvin’s exile over an alleged incident involving a Marriott hotel employee in February.

Irvin was taken off the air by NFL Network as a result and hasn’t been on the air since, including ESPN’s flagship show, First shot.

Smith has previously criticized the move after a Marriott employee accused him of inappropriate behavior. Irvin has strongly denied these claims.

“I’m going to support my brother until you prove me wrong,” Smith said on his eponymous show on Wednesday.

“As a black man, I have never liked, nor appreciated, that a video could be shown showing nothing but talking, we have no sound… incriminating him.

Instead, according to Bayless, the pair will join him in his revamped FS1 program Undisputed.

‘I’m not happy because Skip – I’m happy for him… I have a deep love for Skip Bayless. But as most of you know, I’m sure we can sit there and say “our brothers from another mother” but it’s a little different than loving your brothers of the same ilk. Me, Keyshawn Johnson and Michael Irvin are just that.”

In an interesting turn of events, Sharpe’s former debating partner, Shannon Sharpe, will join Bayless’ old friend Stephen A. on First shotdebuts on September 4.

Sharpe will be part of the programming opposite Smith on Monday and Tuesday. Yesterday he announced a collaboration with Colin Cowherd’s The volume in which his popular podcast Club Shay Shay will live soon.
