Stephen A. Smith blames Michelle Obama and Oprah Winfrey for Kamala Harris’ election defeat by Donald Trump

The quadrennial post-election finger-pointing has ensnared Kamala Harris supporters Michelle Obama and Oprah Winfrey, who Stephen A. Smith claims are guilty of alienating voters.

The Donald Trump critic and ESPN host partly blames the couple’s rhetoric for creating divisions between men and women. Smith was particularly angry that the former First Lady told the crowd there was “a vote for it.” [Trump] is a voice against us.’

“If we don’t agree with you, are we against you?” Smith asked. ‘What do you think the men thought of that? So we must do what you tell us to do; otherwise we are against you? Did you think that worked? Do you know anything about most men? Do you think that will work?’

Smith said the Harris campaign used “guilt” to manipulate “ordinary people” into voting for Harris, he said. on his podcast.

To make his point, Smith played a clip of Winfrey hinting at an anti-democratic takeover of the United States in the event of a Trump victory.

Smith blamed Michelle Obama for claiming a vote for Trump was a vote “against us.”

“This is the kind of thing that alienates an electorate, alienates a voter,” Smith said. “Because you’re trying to morally confiscate the freedom you tell them you have by letting them know, you’re worth nothing unless you vote the way we say you should vote.

‘Who will choose that in a general election? With an economy full of inflation and more than twelve million people crossing the border?’

The rhetoric also serves to underscore the growing divide between elites and most Americans, Smith explained.

“Ultimately, celebrities, who are worth hundreds of millions, if not billions, who most American citizens think are incredibly disconnected from their way of life and their quality of life, would not be able to get away with making them feel guilty about something else to do. then what their experience says is going on and what to do about it,” Smith said.

Smith is not generally considered a conservative or liberal, but has become increasingly political this year as Trump and Harris campaigned for the Oval Office. He even made several appearances on Sean Hannity’s Fox News program, with the conservative host calling the sports expert a “friend.”

Last week on Hannity’s program, Smith went viral for criticizing the 78-year-old Trump’s perceived mental decline.

“I know you’re not talking about someone who is clear and convincing and articulates his thoughts clearly, and you’re bragging about Donald Trump,” Smith said. ‘We can’t look at the same things you do.

Smith’s political turn coincided with his ongoing contract negotiations with ESPN. The New York Post previously reported that Smith earns $12 million annually at the Worldwide Leader, but is rumored to be in the market for a nine-figure deal.

‘[Dallas Cowboys quarterback] Dak Prescott just signed a $240 million contract,” Smith said on the Who’s Talking To Chris Wallace show in September. “He makes $60 million a year. Won two playoff games in eight years.

‘I have been number one for twelve years. I’m sorry; in our respective industries, I win, and I am fully aware of my worth, and I will never apologize for that to anyone.”
