‘I wrote a poem when I was about 13 or 14 that said ‘One day I’ll be standing on the cobbles of Coronation Street’.

‘My mother had put it in her bedside table and recently took it out again. She said, “How great is that? You wrote that as a kid as one of your dreams and now you’re doing it”. It really is a dream come true.’

Stephanie shot to fame when she was 17 years old after taking part in BBC One talent show Over The Rainbow in 2010 hoping to act as Dorothy in The Wizard Of OZ West End show.

She impressed Channel 4 bosses at Hollyoaks who invited her to audition and she joined the soap that same year as teenager Sinead O’Connor.

Despite her career going from strength to strength, her drunken antics caught up with her and in 2015 she was fired for arriving on set “unfit for work.”

A few years later, Stephanie was admitted to rehab for alcohol addiction after several suicide attempts.

She has previously said that her mental health took a turn for the worse after appearing on Celebrity Big Brother in 2016.
