American basketball player Steph Curry briefly lost his temper with a fan outside the Olympic party in Paris on Saturday night, shortly after his wife was in tears following a confrontation with French police.
Curry, 36, celebrated with his American teammates at the posh L’Avenue restaurant after beating the home team in the gold medal game on Saturday, with a sensational 24-point score that gave the team a 98-87 victory.
Before heading to the party, Golden State Warriors icon’s wife Ayesha and her mother Sonya got into a scuffle with police as they tried to walk back to their car after the game.
The conflict left Ayesha, Steph’s wife of the past 13 years, visibly upset, according to video captured by Hollywood Fix.
And just hours later, Curry found herself in a heated altercation of her own when an adoring fan seeking an autograph showed up and held a shirt off Sonya as they left the party.

“Watch out!” the NBA point guard can be heard yelling in the viral clip, shared by Instagram account @Vendett_Dailly. “Get that out of my mother’s face!”
Unlike the incident with her husband, it is unclear what caused Ayesha to clash with police in Paris on Saturday night.
However, at one point in the video, Sonya was heard screaming that someone had touched baby Caius Chai, the couple’s fourth child who was born prematurely in May. Caius was seen in Ayesha’s arms during the ordeal.
Draymond Green, Curry’s teammate with the Golden State Warriors, also said someone hit the baby’s head.
Part of the problem seemed to be that the Curries and Greens couldn’t walk back to their car.
“Look, they won’t let us go back where we came from,” Sonya said. “They won’t let the driver come here and they won’t let us go back there.”
At one point a man starts translating for the police and apologizes: “Sorry about the baby.”

Curry was not seen in the footage, but Green was clearly present in the gold medalist’s absence.
“So even after he hits the baby on the head, you still can’t do anything to get them out of here?” he asked.
At one point, an angry Sonya can be heard shouting at others off-camera, “What? Stop saying my name. You guys should be helping us with the baby!”
Later, Sonya, in tears, tells the officers, “Let’s go to our car.”
Although Ayesha is clearly crying, she remains silent during the confrontation.
The couple has not publicly commented on the incident.
Curry met Ayesha as a teenager at church in his hometown of Charlotte, where his father was playing at the time. The two eventually married in July 2011.
Since then, the elder Curry and his wife Sonya have divorced.

Steph and Ayesha announced the birth of Caius at the end of May.
“Our sweet baby boy decided to come early!!,” the four-time NBA champion wrote on Instagram alongside a photo of the newborn’s hand. “He is doing great and we are finally settling in as a family of 6! So thankful!”
It’s unclear when Caius’ original due date was planned, but the couple’s first three children were all born in July — the height of the NBA offseason. Eldest daughter Riley Elizabeth was born in July 2012, while daughter Ryan was born three years later, followed by their first son, Canon, in 2018.
