Steph Claire Smith shares details of dismal sex life after becoming a new mom – just months after 30-day sex challenge with husband Josh Miller
Steph Claire Smith has shared details about her dismal sex life with husband Josh Miller.
The 29-year-old KICPOD host, who is mom to two-year-old son Harvey, opened up about her lackluster love life with fellow podcaster Leoni Akhidenor on Wednesday.
Speaking of “sex after having kids,” Steph revealed that she and Josh had “lost the sexual spark” in the first year after their son was born.
“Sometimes it can take so long that you think, ‘Do I still have to do this? Like I’m alive, I’m fine.’ You know?’ she said.
“And I feel like it would be so common for the sexual spark or chemistry to fade, especially in that first year.”

Her guest host Leoni, a parenting guru, told Steph that communicating with her partner was a key factor in moving forward with their sex life.
It comes after the mother of a child took part in a 30-day sex challenge with hubby Josh last August.
She confessed on her podcast that they had to be intimate with each other every day for an entire month to bring intimacy back into their busy lives.

Josh, who was on the podcast episode with co-host Laura Henshaw at the time, said he first saw the challenge concept online and introduced it to Steph.
“I want to say we weren’t not sexually active…but I think it was just more that we were addressing the fact that we were new parents and not finding time for each other that way,” he said.
At the end of the challenge, the parents said it changed their sex lives forever, as they “learned extra ways to be close” and would “definitely” do it again.
“I don’t think any negatives come out of it,” Josh said.
