We’ve all been there: you get overzealous about a message and shoot it off without a second thought, before you spot a typo.

Usually they are harmless, but occasionally they dramatically change the meaning of the entire text.

Bored Panda collected a selection of the most hilarious texting mistakes from around the world, including misspellings and speech-to-text mishaps.

In one case, a woman from the US misspelled “leaving” as “lesbian,” leaving her husband in trouble.

Elsewhere, a mother in Oklahoma accidentally instructed her daughter to “drive carefully” and issued a warning to “drive carefully.”
