Steelers star Najee Harris reveals disgusting reason he was forced to miss part of game against the Bengals

Pittsburgh Steelers star running back Najee Harris may have enjoyed Thanksgiving a little too much, causing stomach problems.

Harris had a strong performance against division rival Cincinnati Bengals, but struggled in the game.

At one point Harris had to sit out the game, but was eventually able to return.

When asked what happened, Harris said (via ESPN’s Brooke Pryor) that he was enjoying the holiday with teammate Pat Freiermuth and his girlfriend Jill, who made a “nice banana snack.”

Harris admitted that he ate too much of it, which led to his problem. But, he said, after eating some oranges, he felt much better.

That worked out well for Steelers fans, who were treated to a big performance from Alabama for the fourth year in a row.

Harris rushed for 16 carries for 75 yards and a touchdown in the 44-38 victory on Sunday afternoon.

Not only that, but Harris also caught six passes for 54 yards to pad his stat line for the day.

But the real star of the show was Steelers quarterback Russell Wilson – who completed 29 of 38 passes for 414 yards, three touchdowns and an interception.

Meanwhile, Cincinnati was led by quarterback Joe Burrow – who completed 28 of 38 passes for 309 yards, three touchdowns and an interception.

Pittsburgh (9-3) now sits alone atop the hotly contested AFC North and sits third in the AFC overall standings.

They will look to push for double-digit wins this season when they host the rival Cleveland Browns on Sunday.
