Statsguru: IMD predicts the highest rainfall in almost two decades

The India Meteorological Department has forecast the highest rainfall in almost two decades. Precipitation is expected to be around 106 percent of the long-term average (LPA), aided by La Niña conditions expected to play a role in the second half of the monsoon season.
