A Staten Island pediatrician has been accused of fleeing the scene after shooting down a father and his 6-year-old daughter.
Dr. Sam Leuzzi is accused of crashing his GMC truck into Guy Seth, 51, and his daughter Zoey as she sat on her father’s shoulder on January 9.
The little girl was rushed to Long Island Children’s Medical Center for surgery after suffering a fractured skull while her father was knocked unconscious.
Leuzzi was arrested the next day and charged with leaving the scene of an accident without reporting, a misdemeanor, violating the right of way and failing to observe due diligence laws. New York Post.
“I just couldn’t believe he would just leave the scene,” Zoey’s mother, Gosia Seth, told the outlet.

Ravi Batra, a lawyer for the Seths, said his client held his daughter even after the blow, meaning he “probably saved her life.”
