The show will have a modern twist this time with a female-led story, as the eponymous police duo will be Sasha and Nicole, instead of Dave and Ken.
Focusing on the two detectives, the show will take place in the fictional city of Desert City, as opposed to the original city of Bay.
The show originally starred David Soul and Paul Michael Glaser, it ran from 1975 to 1979 and was created by William Blinn.

“I told the producers, but they said no, you’re the blonde and he’s the curly-haired one, so it has to be that way.”
