Stars On Mars: Lance Armstrong loses his cool during heated debate with RHOA star Porsha Williams
Lance Armstrong talks to Real Housewives of Atlanta star Porsha Williams Guobadia during a heated debate on Monday’s episode of Stars On Mars.
The former professional cyclist, 51, caused a storm after announcing he was leaving the show, not wanting to live ‘another day’ with other contestants.
In an exclusive clip of the upcoming episode, the drug chief began to plead his case, saying, “Let me make this real simple.” I don’t need the drama, I busted my ass for nine days and I’m going to bust my ass on the 10th day, and I’m going to automatically select myself to leave. We have four new great people…”
Porsha, 42, immediately began to wonder what Lance was trying to say when he confirmed, “To leave Mars, yes.”

The Bravo reality star then snapped back, “No, I don’t like that. What are you talking about? That’s not even fair to the team when you say, “Oh, I’m opting out.”
While Lance tried to argue that the remaining contestants would be “just fine” due to newer additions to the team, the RHOA star continued to hit back.
‘Nobody gives up. I’m tired of people giving up because it really doesn’t make the experience fun,’ Porsha insisted. “I thought we were having fun because I thought everyone who was here actually wanted to be here.”
When Lance tried to explain that he was still giving his fellow contestants “options,” the Real Housewives star snapped back, “We don’t want your options.” We’re going to finish today, and we’ll start tomorrow when tomorrow comes.’
Lance refused to give up, stating, “Well, guess what, I’m not living another day in this hub with certain people.”
The clip ends with Chef Cat Cora sharing her disbelief at the confrontation as she said, “What did I get myself into here?” This is crazy.’
The reality series was filmed in South Australia and saw celebrity ‘astronauts’ living together in a habitat in the desert environment of Coober Pedy in the Australian Outback.
In the series finale, Lance caused a storm when he shared his belief that transgender athletes should compete in their own category.

The conversation about transgender athletes started when drug-cheating UFC fighter Ronda Rousey, 36, started talking about how he was doing a podcast last month and that the podcaster wanted to ask him about transgender athletes in the sport.
“I said, ‘Listen to one of my key employees, they’re transitioning,'” Lance said. ‘I have no problem with that. I love it. Let’s go.’
“I said to the man on the podcast, this is very simple, do you want to switch? Let’s do it,” Lance said. You have your own category. We’re getting a whole new division. We celebrate you just as we celebrate everyone else. Let’s go. What’s unfair about that?’
“To me, I think we should just care that if you make people different, it’s not good for their mental health,” singer Tinashe interrupted.
“Do what?” asked Lance.
“Like, other people,” Tinashe said.

Lance asked her what that meant.
“Kind of excluding the same spaces and places where everyone else is,” Tinashe said.
“We’re not ruling anyone out,” Lance said. “By the way, I sound like a right-wing lunatic. I am not. I am the most liberal person. But from a sporting point of view. ..’
In a confessional, Tinashe said she didn’t think Lance should be a spokesperson for the issue.
“You banish the people who don’t fit the categories,” said actress Ariel Winter, 25.
“You may not agree with me and I may not agree with you, but that’s okay, right?” Lance said in a confessional.

He continued, “And there are a lot of sensitive topics and it’s not just trans issues and trans in sports. It could be abortion, it could be war, it could be gun violence, it could be politics, whatever, global warming. But if you don’t feel safe to start the conversation, then we are all lost.’
“That’s not the conversation to have here,” Porsha told Lance. “You’re not at your kitchen table.”
“My opinion is my opinion until proven otherwise,” Lance added in a confessional. “If this discussion gets to the point where a chamber of the brightest scientists and medical experts and everything else can say 100 percent without a doubt that it’s a level playing field on this issue, then we’re good.”
Stars On Mars returns on Fox next Monday.
