Bethesda Softworks launches its latest open-world role-playing game Star field on September 6. It’s coming to Xbox Game Pass, which means Xbox Game Pass Ultimate or PC Game Pass subscribers can play it for free. However, pre-ordering a physical or digital copy for Xbox Series X will get you a ton of in-game cosmetics and other items, only a few of which are included in the Game Pass version. Some retailers offer exclusive pre-order bonuses, such as a Steelbook case and other premium goodies, when you reserve a copy before launch day.
We’ve put together all the info you need to know, whether you want the standard version of the game or the $299.99 collector’s edition.
Starfield Standard Edition
The $69.99 The standard edition of the game is a bit light on the extras, but pre-ordering the game will get you the Old Mars Skin Pack, which includes:
- Deep Mining Helmet and Pack
- Laser cutter weapon

Starfield Premium Edition
If you opt for the $89.99 Premium Edition, you’ll get all the digital goods included with pre-orders for the Standard Edition, but you’ll also get some additional items:
- 5 days early access
- Access Starfield: shattered spacethe game’s first story expansion
- Constellation Skin Pack (contains Equinox Laser Rifle, Space Suit, Helmet and Boost Pack)
- Digital soundtrack and artbook
If you play the game through Game Pass, you can choose to download the Star field Premium Upgrade at GameStop for more content and early access. For $34.99you get the following:

Starfield Constellation Edition
I personally would $299.99 Collector’s Edition of Starfield the “Red Dwarf Edition”, but that’s just me. Pre-order from Starfield With Constellation Edition, you get all the cool digital stuff, plus a whole lot more. It entitles you to a one-way ticket from our doomed planet (just kidding). While you have to stay on solid ground with the rest of us, you’re also the proud owner of the following:
