Star Wars: The Bad Batch has been renewed by Disney+ for its third and final season

Disney+ has renewed the animated series Star Wars: The Bad Batch for a third and final season.

The reveal for the show’s third season, which will air next year on the streaming service, was made Monday at Star Wars Celebration Europe 2023 at ExCel in London.

The show’s executive producers Brad Rau, Jennifer Corbett and Athena Portillo made the reveal at the event. the studio revealed on Monday.

A teaser trailer was shown for the upcoming season, featuring an encounter between Emperor Palpatine (Ian McDiarmid) and Dr. Royce Hemlock on the topic of Imperial Cloning.

Emperor Palpatine says, “It is imperative that this facility remain secure. Your genius is a great asset to this realm.”

The members of the Bad Batch can be seen in the clip, as Hunter plans to rescue Omega after her capture by Imperial forces.

Hunter said, “Omega has been waiting for us – I’m not making her wait another day.”

In the midst of their capture, Omega tells Crosshair, “I’m not giving up, Crosshair – I won’t leave you either.” You are my brother.’

The preview clip also features a number of different worlds, creatures, clones, and characters, including the bounty hunter Fennec Shand.

The series documents the adventures of the heroic Clone Force 99, nicknamed the Bad Batch, after the Imperial Rise and Order 66.

Created by Jennifer Corbett and Dave Filoni, the series first came out in May 2021.

It features the voices of Dee Bradley Baker, Michelle Ang, Noshir Dalal and Rhea Perlman.
