Star Wars: Skeleton Crew is chock full of Easter eggs, and the Disney Plus show’s creators say there’s one that’s ‘not hidden at all’ in the first episode

Star Wars: Skeleton CrewThe film’s makers say there is “no doubt” that Star Wars fans will find every reference to Lucasfilm’s sci-fi franchise in the Disney Plus series.

Speaking exclusively to Ny Breaking, Jon Watts and Christopher Ford admitted that Star Wars fanatics won’t discover every secret right away. However, the duo is confident that diehards will eventually unearth every hidden Easter egg Skeleton crew.

Of Skeleton crew is placed in the postReturn of the Jedi part of the Star Wars timeline, there will be no nods to events that occur in the sequel film trilogy. Nevertheless, with many other shows and movies set before and around the eight-episode series, there will be more than enough surprises for viewers to discover – and one, which will premiere, won’t be too hard to spot.

“(There’s one) in the first episode that’s not hidden at all,” Watts revealed. “Once everyone sees it, they’ll know (what it refers to).”

“Yeah, that one’s just blatant,” Ford said with a smile. ‘I’m just saying there are references to it Ewok Adventuresbut there are also others, very subtle, that may not be obvious at first. So yeah, take a closer look.”

“We have no doubt that fans will find them all,” Watts added. “Never doubt the Star Wars fandom!”

While Watts and Ford would like fans to be able to find each Easter egg on their own, the duo have already taken the plunge and revealed a pair that will appear in the latest 2024 Star Wars movies and shows.

There is indeed talk Empire magazine In mid-October, Watts and Ford confirmed that the Tick, a species that, like the teddy bear-like Ewoks, is native to the planet Endor, will appear in Skeleton crew. The Teek was seen for the first and last time in two spin-offs of films starring Ewok Caravan of Courage: Ewok Adventures And The Battle of Endor – films not considered canon in the Star Wars franchise. Meanwhile in conversation with The Holo FilesWatts and Ford also stated that the upcoming series would not include the much-maligned people Star Wars Holiday Special. That bizarre project isn’t good enough to reserve a spot on our lists of the best Disney Plus movies and best Disney Plus shows, but it might Skeleton crew will be to join the latter.
