Star Wars Jedi: Survivor’s new story trailer brings back two fan favorites

The latest trailer for Respawn’s Star Wars Jedi: Survivor reintroduces some of main character Cal Kestis’ old friends – including Merrin and Greez Ditzus – and a few new Force-compatible partners who travel to the heart of the realm to preserve what’s left of the Jedi Order.

There also seems to be a good chunk of gameplay, showing off the combos and combined attacks players can pull off between all the puzzle-solving and major set-piece events that require Survivor‘s predecessor, 2019’s Star Wars Jedi: Fallen Order, was known and appreciated.

To recap, the first game was set five years after the events of the 2005 film Revenge of the Sith. Kestis, a former Padawan, tries to hide that past from the Emperor’s sinister agents, who are determined to wipe out all Jedi. Merrin and Greez are prominent characters in that adventure.

Star Wars Jedi: Survivor will launch on April 28 for PlayStation 5, Windows PC, and Xbox Series X.
