Star Wars Jedi: Survivor finally takes us to a Star Wars bathroom

Star Wars Jedi: Survivor is absolutely packed with fun new additions to the Star Wars universe. There’s Turgle, your favorite little frog man. There’s a space DJ and her sampling droid mixing beats in the wild. And there’s, for the first time in Star Wars visual media, a bona fide bathroom you can hang out in, in a way you can’t in real life, because that would be weird.

Granted, it’s not the First Star Wars bathroom ever pictured – that honor, oddly enough, could go to the Star Wars Galaxy’s Edge theme park, where the bathrooms are “in character”, albeit a little limited in imagination by necessity, as they have to be made for humans made and must adhere to (Earth) sanitary laws.

Andor Also kind of showed us Star Wars bathrooms, but they were basically prison cans too: spartan, functional, and not big on privacy. Likewise the Razor CrestDin Djarin’s ship in season 1 of The Mandalorianhad a head for his long-distance travel that may be seen in the background of the first episode.

The bathrooms inside Jedi: survivor, However? They’re the real deal, and probably a (slightly scummy) representation of how most people go in the Star Wars universe. You can find it early in the game, near the main entrance of Pyloon’s Saloon (Greez’s cantina) on the planet Koboh.

Head back that way and down the stairs, and you’ll find the dingy facilities waiting for you and the other saloon visitors.

The view from the entrance of a Star Wars public restroom. It sort of looks like a normal one, but with those Star Wars-style adobe walls and dingy fixtures and dim lighting, at least in Star Wars Jedi: Survivor.

And look! A good stable that gives you privacy – none of that horse stable nonsense we have in most IRL public toilets.

A mid shot of an open cubicle in the restroom of the Pylon's Saloon from Star Wars Jedi: Survivor. From this distance, the toilet looks normal, albeit a little elongated.

Check out the local graffiti! Also view the different whatsits here. That little device on the wall looks like it could be for toilet paper, but maybe they’re using something else on the outer rim. This toilet is ready for you, no matter from which side you do business. What’s that tube next to the bowl, you ask? Don’t know! Probably none of my business.

And this dingy sink! Perfect. Star Wars is supposed to be rather grody, and this sink looks like it barely gets the job done. Do you think it even uses water? It has to, right? Why else do you have two dispensers?

Close-up of the sink in the bathroom in Star Wars Jedi: Survivor. It has two dispensers that might be for water and maybe a soap dispenser, although I could be all wrong there.

IS THAT A janitor DROID? IS HE WEARING A LIL TUX?

I hope you found this photo essay informative. Please don’t take photos in any real public restroom you may be in, however new.
