Stan announces last season of smash-hit show as beloved series begins filming its finale in Sydney

Stan has announced the end of their longest running Original series Bump.

The streaming service announced on Tuesday that the Australian comedy series is currently filming its fifth and final season in Sydney.

After a successful debut in 2021, stars Nathalie Morris, Carlos Sanson Jr., Claudia Karvan, Angus Sampson, Christian Byers and Ava Cannon are saying goodbye.

The brand new season is the final chapter of the successful series, which has become a household name in Australia.

Season five will provide a sneak peek into where our favorite characters are headed.

As they travel through the present and the past, the Chalmers-Davis family overcomes the endless obstacles life throws their way.

Angie (Claudia Karvan) is still struggling with the cancer diagnosis she received in season three, while Oly (Nathalie Morris) is navigating her second pregnancy.

Bump tells the story of ambitious and over-stressed high school student Oly who unexpectedly has a baby boy and a pregnancy that turns her family upside down.

To celebrate the final season, Stan is giving one lucky fan the chance to be an extra on Stan’s longest-running original series, the streaming service announced.

Die-hard fans just have to make a 30-second video of themselves explaining what they would like to see happen in season five of the Stan Original series.

The most creative contestant will get the chance to appear as an extra in the final season of Bump.

The stars of Stan’s critically acclaimed comedy-drama Bump revealed what made the series such a success last December, ahead of the release of season four.

Nathalie Morris, who plays the lead role of Oly, told Ny Breaking Australia she thinks it’s a hit because it “resonates with so many people”.

“It’s a very uplifting show and very Australian to make the best of a bad situation. I think a lot of people in Sydney will recognise their home in the show as well,” she said.

“There are also a lot of characters that a lot of people can identify with.”

Bump seasons one through four are currently available to stream on Stan.
