GSC Game World appealed to fans not to “view, share and leak material from the game” in case it would “ruin your experience of exploring the Zone on your own.”

The team revealed that the hackers had exploited a vulnerability. While frustrating, it at least meant GSC was able to identify where the problem was and fix it before release.

Stalker 2 remains one of the most anticipated upcoming matches of 2023 and yet could be one of the best FPS games of the year.
