Bec Hewitt looked like a proud mother on Thursday night as she arrived at the Oxford Art Factory in Sydney to watch her 18-year-old daughter Mia perform.

The 41-year-old tennis star visited the venue in the exclusive suburb of Darlinghurst and seemed delighted to see her child perform with her bohemian folk-rock duo Father’s Favourite.

The former Home and Away star rocked a smart-casual look in an open black puffer jacket, teamed with a white blouse and loose-fitting navy trousers.

She completed her relaxed outfit with black sneakers and appeared to be in high spirits as she walked to the venue to see her eldest child perform.

Bec’s brown hair was tied back and a light layer of nude makeup accentuated her striking and youthful appearance.

It appeared Bec headed out alone as she was not accompanied by her tennis star husband Lleyton Hewitt.

Meanwhile, Bec’s daughter Mia exuded confidence and style as she sang her songs to a delirious audience that asked for more.

Bec’s outing follows reports that she has urged Mia not to ‘repeat her mistakes’ as the teenager steps into the spotlight to launch her music career.

Mia recently gave her first performance and former pop star Bec is reportedly keen to steer her daughter in the right musical direction.

Although she is best known for her role as Home and Away favourite Hailey Smith Lawson from 1998 to 2005, the actress also had a brief pop career.

Mia is the eldest daughter of power couple Lleyton and Bec, who met on the tennis court in 1999 during a Starlight Cup charity match.

Grand Slam champion Lleyton married actress Bec 18 years ago in a romantic ceremony at the Sydney Opera House. As well as singer Mia, they also have a daughter, Ava, 12, and a son, Cruz, 14.
