Stacey Solomon shares her quick and easy way to make festive decorations

Stacey Solomon showed off her DIY skills on Monday when she made several easy Christmas decorations, leaving fans very impressed.

The Loose Woman star, 33, took to her Instagram and TikTok to show her 5.4 million followers how she makes her festive baubles and presents.

The beauty also revealed the creations only cost her £5 when she displayed them at Pickle Cottage, the home she shares with her kids and husband Joe Swash.

Stacey took some old children’s play balls and painted them maroon and white to cover the previous pattern.

She covered her fingers in gold glitter before dabbing the glitter over the balls.

Stacey showed herself sitting in front of her wood-burning stove as she cut some gold metallic pieces of cardboard into bauble caps and pendants.

Hip! She showed her followers how to make giant sparkly baubles out of her kids’ old soccer balls, using gold paper cups and spray paint

She wrote, “Make giant baubles with me. The only baubles I want. I love these!

“They were super easy to make, but look so pretty. Happy Monday everyone.

‘PS Don’t worry, I don’t spray my tiles, these are outdoor patio tiles that rinse off super easily!

Looks good: After sticking the card on top of the baubles, Stacey magically created four incredible large baubles that she placed perfectly on her sideboard

‘Balls – all the balls you’ve got; Paint- I used spray paint, it’s easier; paper cups; Glitter (dab it on before the paint is completely dry so it sticks; Glue for the top.”

The party fun didn’t stop there, as she also made some giant gift decorations. DIY Queen Stacey started by putting glue from a hot glue gun on the end of some wooden sticks which she then glued together to create a cube shape.

Once the cube was made, the former X Factor star added a piece of sparkly material over the top and wrapped a coordinated ribbon around it.

She tied the ribbon in a bow and created the gift-shaped embellishment before finishing it off with Christmas lights in it.

Stacey left many of her Instagram followers stunned at the start of the month after revealing that she put up her Christmas tree six weeks early.

The Loose Women star initially told fans about her productive day when many noticed the festive decoration in the background.

Stacey later returned to the platform to admit that she “couldn’t help it” because she wanted a “forage Christmas” this year.

After fans noticed the erected tree, Stacey was bombarded with messages that made her “freak out.”

She wrote, “Your messages are killing me! that was a Christmas tree in the background of my last video, but I promise I haven’t started decorating it yet’.

However, she later posted another photo with the tree half decorated and said, “I couldn’t help it!”

She captioned the photo, “After showing you I started I couldn’t resist, this is as far as Farmer Scott’s bush has gotten me so I guess I’ll have to find a few more bushes.”

“And also maybe use what I already have around the house to create a good shape…if and if you’re thinking of adding these or any other stems to a bush, start foraging now.”

Discussing her festive display, she said, “I want to try and make all my decorations from things I already have and things I can find in the yard (or someone else’s yard).
